For the record, no, I do not find this in any way a comparable question. First you have to take into account that Seattle is a city of hippies, a fair percentage of which prefer Native beliefs and culture to the Christianity. Second, it was the Romans that kicked the Jews out of Israel, not the Muslims, whereas white settlers and the US government can take almost full credit for the Native American genocide. Also, saying 'Sorry we killed most of your people, would you like us to stop horribly trashing your land and sacred places and put you back in charge of them since we stole this populated land from you.' seems a bit different to me than 'Hey, sorry we didn't care that some guys were killing millions of your people. Here, want this land we stole from some other guys? Cool, now get out of our country, we don't want your unchristian refugees.'
